I traded Titch after his 40 and that 83 washed away any possible regret I could have felt about it.

So then Merrett Laird - I guess.

But I'm pretty damn happy owning Walsh I've gotta say - kent's going large in the back half I reckon

The case for Zerrett:

He's missed 7 games in 6 years.
6 straight years of averaging 100+; the last two 115+.
Has scored under 99 just once this year, which was a disastrous 57 which rolls out of his average this week.
$105k discount from starting price.
Bombres can't and won't stay this bad for the rest of the year; still got North and West Coast to come.
Player/team form always ebbs and flows during the year. I see it as highly likely he is better in the latter half than the first, due to his fitness and Essendon's form.

In conclusion, he may not wind up 115+ or at the top of the tree, but he clear represents good value and a good bet at $520k to be a very solid M8. I'm buying.
