If playing same day, yes, logical. More about if seniors play on different weekends or seconds go further. Just crossed my mind when Pitto not selected for ones.

The concern is then anyone who hasn't played at least 6 VFL games or alternatively has played AFL after July 1.

I doubt we'll be holding Pittonet out of the AFL for this.

Ok so we've got both Newnes and Fogarty on standby, looks like Durdin might be struggling as I've mentioned.

If you want to cast to a TV, get out the AFL app on phone or tablet, then when the stream is live (in the next 5 minutes or so), tap on the LIVE: VFL ticker at the top of the starting screen of the app, not the news article about the game, nor the match centre link I've posted.

From there, tap on the match and the video that comes up can be cast.

If you're on desktop, the link will replace the 'where to watch' link when the stream goes live... it's using the AFL system for this, so in the meantime it incorrectly links to the TV Guide.

Not outside, just sitting more on the edge of the stoppage to use his speed to play the first option and defend the opposition's, and to bust/collapse it as needed.

Kind of what we get Cerra and Walsh to do.

He's not been playing the outside mid role really. Has still been racking up clearances. Just been getting on the end of a few more handballs and getting a bit more balance in his game.

Looks like the midfield will be pretty reliant on him tonight.

They do that all the time Jim. If our vfl plays before the afl they keep 2 out. If it’s same day (but vfl first) they pull one out at half time.

I would expect no late change.

Marchbank busy but building touch, while Durdin is sound if the ball is in his area.

Love the way Lieu applies himself, but there's not much of him so if he can't hit a pack at speed in the air or on the ground, he's not going to do much.

Love the way Lieu applies himself, but there's not much of him so if he can't hit a pack at speed in the air or on the ground, he's not going to do much.

Just a correction to this: he's physically big enough, but has difficulty hitting stride at times, which makes him hit the contest with less momentum behind him.
