And more disturbingly blokes like RCD and Aarts, neither of whom I rate at all, are killing us.
Carroll, Fog and to a lesser degree LOB get a pass so far but everyone else has been putrid.
Tall key position stocks at both ends are very light, which is disappointing and worrying.

This shows how important Dow was for our stoppage play.
Boggles the mind that we're not deploying Kemp or Stocker in there at the moment. Yes JGM is missing as a KPF and we don't really have a KPD, but we're not getting quality F50 entries and we're way down on clearance numbers.
Put them in the action and the stuff inside the arcs will sort itself out through better pressure and ball use.

Excellent question considering that Carroll is the only CFC mid in that mix. Williamson is playing the wing role that tucks in for stoppages and has 3 clearances...
We're running a bunch of experiments here for the AFL side rather than letting players develop their whole game.
Mirkov looks frightened. Even when the ball drops in his direction he seems unsure as to what to do.
TDK is a shadow of the player we know he can be.
Carroll was good in the first - poor in the second
Willo tried hard. Fog was OK. LoB and Plow should be doing so much more than they are. And Stock has been mostly unsighted.
To be fair to the MC they really did pick the three best blokes from the VFL. We’ve missed all 3.

We look flat like everyone's had COVID.
After watching every VFL game so far this year this is the first time I've seen our players running out of legs hands on hips not gut running to the ball or to receive/help out.
God I hope this doesn't transfer to the seniors.

You've got it half-right there, I would say he's not running well today and he's hesitant as he works to instruction on how to handle ruck contests. They'll probably rest him next week.
SkyhorseTamer: Just a further update, looks like they started putting Fogarty and Philp in the mix, but it didn't make much headway. The best contested stoppage resources in the side are sitting at either end of the ground.
Other teams are just going to cherry pick our mids if we don't start using a system where they get rotated. Can't let that talent rot in the VFL.
