You know when you just get a feeling, I have heard that saints have been interested, have always wanted this calibre of player.
Nearly came last time, now he's a free agent, Satan taking over CEO (I know that has nothing to do with it, but he's a results based unit rather than an emotional type). I think he's ready to explode in the next year or two as well

If he's ready to explode it will be more like a packet of Mentos in a bottle of Coke (very very messy) than a step up in performance....
Surely just on type alone its not what we want is it? Maybe we need one of his nature though...doesn't sit well!

If we want a quality midfield we need to try and find them in the top end of the draft

King would have cost us 2 firsts meaning we would have gone 2018, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23 without using a first on a genuine mid

Lipinksi's name was brought up on here but apparently we didn't need another average mid.

Who knows how his year pans out, he could struggle against quality midfields, but last night he looked like the type of mid that we are lacking in there.

If you are going to rebuild , you need to trade value to get value.
Possibly we should have already backed in King and Sharman, and traded Membrey.

Membrey is not going anywhere unless he wants to leave. And that’s a win for us as well, him leaving would do more bad then good.

But yes, if we were going to commit to a rebuild I agree on the theory. IDK what it would take for the club to actually commit to a rebuilt though when we are apparently in our “premiership window”, so let’s see
