Which of the small forwards that were linked to has the better all around forward game, ie any of them a threat to take marks?

The last thing I want is another “pressure” forward or a small forward that’s more a hff.


From my limited viewing ie highlights this year , Charleston looked more threatening than Rawlinson, tho that was so long ago and I paid so little attention I can’t even say whether I’m remembering correctly who’s who lol.

In a way that does worry me, I can see why people worry.


I think the biggest gap between juniors and pros is the quality of defenders and the organisation of defences between the two competitions. Far more than the jump for mids or backs imo.

So forwards beating up on junior defences are going to have a far tougher time at afl level.

Delean is going to come up against taller, quicker, stronger, defenders every week.


Having said that, if there’s any team that could use a stay at home medium marking forward it’s us. Not that Hinkley would pick that player over a pressure specialist. But I like deleans fit for us and would be happy to pick him.
