I know the players brought in aren't the most exciting, I'm not sure what anyone expected, there just isn't much out there. We got rid of Harmes and JJ and brought in Billings that's a win. Gundy out and Fullerton in, I'm not sure on Fullerton but he is a cheaper back up and probably has more upside with his abilities forward. It's a hold for now but may end up being a good get. We then added McAdam which is an improvement on our dismissal forward line and he came in cheaply. Plus who knows what we can get out from the draft. I think overall we've had a win during this trade period.

Get Nate Caddy with pick 6 your forward line will be off its head

Just great to see us being connected to players on the final day of trade week.

Don't understand all the fuss on here about whether he's any good or not.

Agree with all this and Grundy/Harmes/Jordon were all a non factor when it came to best 22 and when it counted in finals anyway.

If Petty and Melksham didn’t go down we would have easily done Collingwood in the prelim. So it’s not like we are a list needing to make big changes, we needed forwards and got 2 of them and potentially a distributor to alleviate inside 50 shambles.

We are in as good a position as we have been since 2021 to have another crack at the flag.

Still low key hoping Petty gets traded. Adelaide and Dees have been suspiciously quiet today.
Zero chance – Elliott Himmelberg's manager has already come out late this afternoon and said that Adelaide won't be trading him to GWS as they failed to get Petty or Chol.

Port's draft hand for the next two years:
  • 2023: Pick 112, Pick 130
  • 2024: Second rounder, third rounder.
Feels like pretty irresponsible list management, as they're not exactly a powerhouse. Hinkley, Koch and co are going to run that club into the ground.
