Yep, you'd think that'll be the likely scenario, especially if North get pick 3 for McKay. And if they get gifted Sanders as an NGA, you'd imagine they take Curtin and McKercher at picks 2 and 3.North can basically force the issue. Send someone over and have 2 or 3 interviews with Curtin. Make it plain they have an interest. Then if WCE want him they either have to take him at 1, or deal with North - and it's not likely to be a deal of the magnitude spoken about earlier - more likely a 1 for 2, with a single later pick thrown in, prob around the 20-30 range. Can't see why North would give away more than that, might even be less.
If WCE are hell bent on getting Curtin, North are in the driver's seat. I can't see WCE trading with the Hawks if they don't have much chance of jagging Curtin, unless it's some godfather offer.
