Andrews had more score involvements than Frampton had disposals. Let's not try and sugarcoat Billy's performance. Fair play to him for getting a lucky call-up and getting a medal, but two disposals, three dropped marks and two frees against isn't close to a decent game.

Compensation​

A club that has a net loss of players transferring to/from other clubs as free agents in one transfer period is entitled to compensation via National Draft picks allocated by the AFL.
The compensation formula produces a points rating for players based on:
1. The new contract of the free agent;
2. The age of the free agent.
Draft picks are allocated to clubs based on the net total points for free agents lost and gained during the transfer period.
Draft picks will be allocated to one of five places:
• 1st round
• end of 1st round
• 2nd round
• end of 2nd round
• 3rd round
In applying the formula, an expert committee reviews the formula outcomes. The committee has the power to recommend alternative outcomes to GM – Football Operations where the formula produces a materially anomalous result.

Andrews was rated a 9 by the experts. Frampton is very lucky to have a medal

Whether it was McStay or Frampton, occupying Andrews was an obvious tactic for the Pies to go in with, so the stats for whoever it was playing probably could have been around the same.

McStay probably ain't dropping easy marks and such, but that's why Frampton has always been an outside the 22 kinda guy. He's just massively versatile key position wise, so that's a big bonus for a side where that's all they're looking for ATM.

Surely no one thinks Champion Data is a reliable judge of anything. It’s hopeless.

There is no way to say Billy had a good game. He didn’t. But I thought Andrew’s had little to no impact on the game.

So 16 possies 9 marks 8 intercepts - all above season averages for a guy whose season averages are all above average or elite

Billy 1 soccer kick and 1 handball, 2 frees against.

Collingwood literally played 17 on 18. Didn’t notice Billy have an impact on a single aerial contest
