Yeah..

I was actually listenning to that conversation live..

They were 100% correct that a star mid is needed..

But fxxk me did they talk down Butts and Keane as players..

Keane “too small” apparently and butts has been “injury prone” for most of his career (really???) and not gonna be there for Round 1..

When the club has stated that he will be right for R1..

And also ignoring that petty is also currently injured with the same injury as butts but butts did his weeks earlier!

They just make shit up on that show..

Far too much back slapping in here over a Suns reserves player and 7 pick upgrade.

Imagine if we actually landed a premium midfielder.

Once we have 6 KPDs, 4 medium defenders, 4 small stoppers, and 4 half backs in the squad, then we can concentrate on our next need, which is another 3 small forwards.

I’m actually dumbfounded by the dees..

They trade us Oliver for 10, 14 and possibly even our f1… with an f2 coming back..

And they get so much draft capital to get pick 1 and reid its not funny..

5, 10, 11, 14 to WC for 1..

Replace oliver, who they actually played ok without this season, with reid..

And

Add back in a million dollars a year for the next 7 years to their salary cap..

And

Get rid of, by their own admission, a troubled player thats been causing them grief..

Its really strange they didnt think to do it..

This is not considered to be a deep draft, and Melbourne probably has a target in mind.
