How come Macrae is only at 15% ownership what am I missing? Is there concern about his role?
No hype and attended less CBAs last yr. His role will actually be better this yr with Dunks gone. Bont / Libba / Macrae the starting 3. Macrae can't play fwd, he will be mid. Bont also gets more mid time / CBAs with a surplus of tall fwds and less big bodied mids.

A lot of $$$
A lot of points too though. Best two captain options as well.

Neither went under $619k last year, and spent most of the season above $650k. How many points will you give up to save $50k?

I've had Touk Touk all PS, as my M1 .....happy with him for Round 1 ....but nervous on Piggy's 45% ownership

Touk has a niggly hammy, don't start him. Get either Laird or Oliver is my advice.

whereas at ADEL, Schoenberg has really stood up over PS, and Rankine will go thru the midfield a lot .....could eat away at Lairds points
Really. I wouldn’t be too concerned about those two taking points away. Very unlikely. Both just average run-of-the-mill players. Team needs better mids than those two.

You guys paid way over the odds for Rankine. Plenty of show with him but little of substance.

That's how it works these days some very average players getting mega dollars $700k+ a year for a dud. Yet the media make a big deal about players/match winners like Dusty,Cripps,Danger on $1 million plus

Rankine is a good player, but he'll need someone to do the dirty work for him. Little Rors will be racking up the tackles!

Is it fair to question my selection of Callum Mills now that the emerging mids at Sydney could take points off him?

Also taking Noah Anderson, seen and read enough.

I’d rather look at Mills as an upgrade target, as there may be a good chance he will drop significantly in $.
Priced at his max.

Noah Anderson is a sexy pick.

Interesting at match sims the Dogs have had a more defensive "back shoulder" focus at centre clearances, we got burnt a lot last yr being too aggressive in that aspect and playing russian roulette. Not sure how it translates to fantasy, potentially more tackles and repeat stoppages, maybe more time in the guts for the stronger bodies.

Jay Clark on MMM yesterday was talking about how the Dogs are changing the way they defend, much more of a focus. Lots of stoppages should help the likes on Bont and Macrae. Would think it allows them more time in midfield too if it's not so helter-skelter?

Libba the other benefactor.

Starting both as don’t think missing out on the points and potential high captains scores is worth the hassle of trying to find the money to get one of them in and saving maybe 50 to 70k

It's what you do when you have a Bont who's about to hit peak Bont.

Protect the back of the stoppage and have a Bont exploding out of the front of it

We can forget about Tom Green now he has just signed a 4 year deal.

Yep, anything you see about “macrae is playing half forward” is just because he started there and then went up into the midfield. The dogs always get extra numbers around the ball. 0 chance macrae plays anywhere other than mid, CBAs are sort of irrelevant for the dogs

I really want to start Finn Calaghan ($244,000 at M6) and Will Ashcroft ($202,800 at M7) but would be at the expense of a super promo in defence (currently Jack Sinclair at D1).

Is everyone going from Hopper (M5) to Ashcroft directly or they going another mid pricer in there?

Structure is getting tighter and the money isn't stretching as far as I had hoped

I would think most going Hopper to Ashcroft, there's a bit of Worpel and Sheed floating around
