Peris probably the only one surprising. Highmore not included is a bigger surprise for me.

Interesting with Adams being delisted - while he wasn't close to getting a game, it would heighten the need to find another KPD if we do trade Howard.

as opposed to opposition intercept marks from shortpasses under little to no pressure that i witness every single week(not just barrass and mcgovern or lever and may)i have no issue with Ro doing this and others should follow
Allison has skills and attributes, no question. Does he find enough of the footy? How much upside is there? They are my question marks. He didn’t look like cracking into the senior side once he returned to playing footy in the second half of the year. Camaniti and Sharman have pushed well ahead in my opinion.

If North have an offer then he is definitely within his rights to explore. He might feel he could crack their senior side next year.

He is contracted for the Saints next year? That would be an easy trade to complete, if Allision does indeed decide to move and explore a different club.
Good luck to him…I think he’s an athlete with little footy nouse but at least he’s still young!

Surprised about Peris.

I was of the opinion that he was likely not going to make it, but thought he’d shown enough improvement for a 1 year deal.

Can’t say I’m surprised about the rest.

Gresh wants money, and he’s hoping for a lot more than what St Kilda are offering. He’s never been short on self confidence old Gresh.
On what he has done in his career and being in the system 8yrs anything over 450k a year is overs - we all know he on good coin now like Billings and Ross were and they couldn't get anyone to offer more by all accounts.
For a guy that can't kick and not fast he could end up the way of Dunstan if he doesn't watch out.
If he goes to the Bombers and under performs on big money he will soon find out what pressure is.

Average AFL is 600k. You figures are underinflated. He may well get 700-750k a year

Highmore has a bit of trade currency?
There was talk from North fans that they were interested after Louge did his ACL.

Otherwise, maybe we are waiting to see what happens with Howard before deciding. While undersized and not a like-for-like, he's still a KPD option which we will need on the list.

I guess that solves the issue about who we take in the draft.
Quite a few promising tall defenders.

I'm disappointed about Peris. I thought he could stay on another year as a cat B rookie for starters.

How many can be cat B overall? With McLennan and now the Irish guy, did we have the room to keep a 3rd player?

I’m still looking at the list and thinking we could easily cut hard and take it to 10 departures with relative ease.

As it stands. We are 4 down with only 3 useable picks.

Hopefully the Giants/Suns cut some decent talent we can pick up too

Maybe another 1-2 Carlton rejects 😜

Three AFL players earned more than $1.2 million in 2022, with a huge increase in spending helping the average wage pass $400,000 for the first time.
The AFL released its Total Player Payment (TPP) for last season on Wednesday, revealing the average wage across the 659 listed players had jumped to $406,000.

It marked an increase of more than $30,000 from $372,224 in 2021 as part of the total of $257.6 million in AFL player payments handed out.

In total, 12 players earned over $1 million in 2022, a huge jump from just five in 2021.

600K i don't think thats the average
