Getting anything at all from pick 50 is absolutely a bonus. There's having high standards and just being silly. If the player was likely to be a serious AFL player someone would have grabbed them with the previous 49 picks.

Gollant seems to be regressing tbh. Marking is nowhere, set shots are average, really not offering a lot these days. With Toby Murray a likely type, he would be wanting far better performances than this.

Welsh has learnt a good trait early in his time at the Crows… he has very little talent around him up forward so he’ll have to do most of the work himself.
