I had to listen to the game on the radio yesterday and Brayshaw, BT and Lyon were barracking so hard for North.

LAAAAAAAAAARKEY KICKS THE GOAL AND NORTH ARE ON SONG HERE

Comapred with

Walters kicks a goal.......slow clap

Every single thing North did was met with over top enthusiasm.

Then i watched the game on the TV and it was exactly the same. Really frustrating to listen to.
was awful

Speaking of media, Pav seems to have become a West Coast sycophant with his commentary. Understandable given that he works in the WA media. Maybe I’m imagining it…
I feel like Freo has nobody left supporting them in the media, even when they are playing well

Be interesting to see how he is on Friday

2) Jackson's form has created a Docker dilemma

It's hard to look past the impact Luke Jackson has had as the Dockers' sole ruckman across the opening two rounds in the absence of the injured Sean Darcy. But it begs the question – what is Freo's best ruck setup once Darcy is available? The Dockers have long seen Darcy as their No.1 ruck option while Jackson has established himself as a forward target and a back-up option in the middle, but after a 2-0 start and two commanding midfield performances, Jackson's role may need to be re-assessed. The 22-year-old was key to sparking the dramatic turnaround against North Melbourne on Saturday, kicking two goals from 24 disposals and seven clearances in a clear best-afield performance. That was on the back of an equally damaging 24-disposal, 21-hitout and two-goal performance in round one. His work in the air and at ground level is unmatched, and while he would no doubt be as damaging as a forward, his presence in the middle of the ground to start this season has been profound. It's sure to provide a few selection headaches once Darcy is ready to return. – Alison O'Connor

Alison either didn't watch the game and so has nothing else to talk about, or was feeling particularly lazy methinks

Or about how it will be awesome when Freo can rotate them so we have a large body taking marks in full forward
Yeah, but that would require independent thought and not the group think that goes on over there

The front page will be about WCEs being brave. Back page will be calling for Darling to be dropped and how many pies Jones has been eating with Haselby

"Sam Taylor, Toby Bedford, Jesse Hogan and Sam Taylor"....

Obviously the proof reader at the Worst Australian was playing golf today...

And Kingy looked like he was getting dragged naked through a cactus having to talk about it.
