Yeah it’s crap. I wanted to slot his number onto my kids jumpers but will wait. Numbers 1, 8 and 20 could plausibly be available in a year or two

In years gone by the draftees have been able to select their numbers in order of draft position based on what’s left after all other players have been allocated jumper numbers.

I’d say Watson picking 34 has more to do with being locker buddies with Ginnivan in 33 than anything else. These two are going to be rats next year
