I know we bemoan our grand final record and some say Horse has gone on too long etc. but when I see teams like Adelaide and North, neither having won a flag since the turn of the century and not looking even remotely close, I am so thankful that we are a steady club that constantly competes and we now have a list in its prime ready to challenge for another 4-5 seasons.

Even when we do inevitably dip again, I’ll be confident that a successful rebuild is just around the corner.

It couldn’t happen to two better teams, btw.

Bummers are pretenders. They only play their one good game a year against us.
