I’d do this. 25 will be the first pick of night 2 after the GC academy matches. Potentially could turn that into another F1 if someone comes knocking.

Then I think we’d hold 3 F1 along with access to another 2 years of future picks. (Not accounting for our requirement to use in a first round selection in the draft over a certain period)

That opens a lot of doors in a supposedly better draft and the last one before Tassie gets involved. Maybe we can have another crack at Harley as well as Humphrey. I’d be just waiting to get Merrett for free in 2027.

I see a bit more Young than Dawson IMO.

Both very agile for their size and great kicks - glides through traffic. I think Dawson was a better mark at the same age too. Really underrated aspect of his game.

I like the idea of either taking Lindsay to play on the wing (one of our weaker areas) or Dovaston (read an article calling him Watson 2.0), could be exciting to have two absolute elite small forward pests for the next 10 years.

They gave their first this year for pick 27 last year and Richmonds second this year.

So pick 4 for 27 and 25 essentially.

If they want 10 and 22 they’d better come up with something better than an F1. Substantially better. We want the same type of good will the Tigers got.

I don't understand how we could possibly part way with both picks when are already light on for list numbers. For a team to get pick 10 now it would have to be a bottom 8 teams f1 without pick 22 attached.

Personally id keep 10 and try move 22 and f2 to a top 8 teams f1.

Yep, if available he's the one. Then we go for speed or a KPF at 22.

Could end up being a top 5 pick that helps secure a Humphrey or similar deal next year (not Butters because I'm 99% sure he's off to the dogs).

Who here can make the case for Sullivan Robey as a top 10 pick? Almost every draft board I see has him right up there with Duursma and CDT. I’ve done a bit of a deep dive today and I cannot understand it. His marking ability looks elite, but the rest of his fundamentals seem to need a fair bit of work. There is a lot of buzz about his 40-touch, 3 goal game against the Jets but the video won’t get you out of your chair. No opposition to speak of that day.

Couldn’t be happier that the bombers are shaping to take him early, leaving more talent for the rest of us. He doesn’t belong in the same league as a player like Dyson Sharp, in my opinion.
