You don’t count 14 goal assists as more than that’s about it? And playing in a middle to bottom side compared with Elliot Green & Pickett (who played more mid than forward) to actually kick 46 goals goals on the number one defender from each opposition side deserves more respect than what you’ve given!

Elliott kicked 52 goals + 13 assists in 23 games.
Greene kicked 41 goals + 11 assists in 21 games.
Pickett kicked 40 goals + 14 assists in 20 games.
Higgins kicked 46 goals + 14 assists in 23 games.

You could maybe make an argument for Higgins over Greene as a forward pocket but Greene's ball winning numbers absolutely give him the edge if you're talking him up as a flanker.

Elliott will likely be the "small forward" with Greene and/or Pickett on the flanks/bench.

If you want to handicap players based on playing for weaker teams then Paul Curtis would be ahead of Higgins.

His numbers stack up with Snags and he played in one of the worst teams we've ever seen.

I was at training a few weeks ago and Max was on the bike in the gym.

When was the surgery? 2ish months ago?

Those numbers don't really seem to be those of an elite forward. I've got my rose coloured glasses off re Max King. He's frustrating as hell. Looks all the world like an injury bust. Hope I'm wrong. There should come a point where the club has to bite the bullet and stop hanging their hat on what he 'could be' and face up to what he is.

I'd be happy to walk away from the Ryan deal, just doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

West Coast have nothing to gain by handing him over for nothing unfortunately.

Find it amazing that anyone still believes ANYTHING the media says when it comes to contract length and salaries for players.

Take it all with a grain of salt, halve it then split the difference.

Why, what examples have you got that they are a long way out from the true amount?

Surely we aren’t re-signing Doogs, chasing Aleer and chasing Jsos?
Only 6 defenders allowed on the field at any one time last time I checked, makes no sense unless we are out on Aleer, which hasn’t been mentioned anywhere.

Josh Worrell?

I'll give the Crows one of those two ahead of Wilkie but not both.

Need to watch more of the Crows man.

Keane & Worrell both top 4 for intercepts in the comp (right behind Taylor & Collins) with Worrell also ave over 20 possessions a game.

There's always gonna be a bias towards teams that finish higher on the ladder.

The selectors are going to see Adelaide on top and ask "Which players have helped them do that?" Having two of the top four intercept defenders in the game is a big, big reason for it.

Again, Wilkie has been awesome for us, but his numbers just don't stack up to the absolute top end this season.
