I thought we were stuffed if Caro didn’t announce it on Agenda Setters?Misson said we should hear from nas in the next week. That’s only one option, he’s staying. No way would he tell us with 3 weeks to go he’s leaving. If we don’t hear from him then we are stuffed

To be honest I think we are stuff. Just finding bits of hope to hold ontoI thought we were stuffed if Caro didn’t announce it on Agenda Setters?
And before that we were stuffed if we didn’t hear by end of week.
And before that we were stuffed if we didn’t hear by end of week.
And before that we were stuffed if we didn’t hear by Tuesday.
And before that we were stuffed if we didn’t hear by the waxing gibbous moon?

'I was like HOLY': Marcus Windhager on record-breaking St Kilda win
St Kilda midfielder, Marcus Windhager, has opened up about the moment he realised his team had a chance to defeat Melbourne. The Saints were 46 points behind at three-quarter time on Sunday, making their win the biggest fourth quarter comeback in AFL history. “I was going along not sort of...www.3aw.com.au
Windy on 3AW, doesn’t sound like he’s signing in a hurry.
I should elaborate...I did crop her out! It's actually a pic of my daughter
In my close to 30 years of supporting the Saints, putting aside the losing grand finals particularly 2009, I don’t think there’s been a more painful and deflating time. Looking more grim by the day.hopefully the hold up is indeed him weighing up a 2 year deal, or an 8 year deal (or whatever the length may be)
I'm concerned enough about Nas. I dont want to worry about Windy too.![]()

We’d all turn into bottoms if it meant him signingsome of you clearly have deteriorating pattern recognition capabilities, the microplastics de-evolving us in real time, but I digress.
Nas is not a footballer, he's a storyteller, football is just his side hustle. The dees game, why did he wait until the last quarter to go bang? it's the hero's journey fellas, you can't have a rise without a fall. Like any great storyteller he waited till all hope was lost, till we were at a record breaking deficit before giving us the greatest final act of our footballing lives.
Everyone that's pleading for him to sign need to ask yourself one thing, are you at rock bottom yet? Because only then will he go bang, 10 years with no player option. Once you see the pattern you know it to be true
(yes im at rockbottom pls save me nas im wasting away my golden years in this stupid thread)
Both just letting there manager deal with it and letting it play out. I thought that sounded positive![]()

I agree.
I think it was Kornes said on Monday - we cant pay him over $2mill for two years because when that contracts up, his management is going to expect more again and the salary cap cant handle that.
If he wants money that big, it needs to be a larger commitment than 2 years and accept it as his big payday contract
Exactly what stavro#4 has been saying for ages now. Then fine, pay him $2 mill a year IF he signs for beyond 2 years, simple as that. Get the big pay day, for the long term commitment
Fair is fair
I would argue Windy has outperformed Mitch considerably in 2025.Windy wants to be treated like Nas and Mitch without performing like them.
