Absolutely monstered, which highlighted our perceived deficiencies in his game at AFL level (3rd tall a little different but he prob didn’t get that attention in our pre-season).

I like all three prospects but they're not the centrepieces of a Charlie trade

If we're to trade Charlie it means a hard reset and more than likely rebuild

I want 2026 first round picks and young players in that order.

Those 3 along with 2026 first(a) is more like it but it'll have to be something other than just GWS's first.

GWS have the capital on their list to go all in on Charlie if they valued him for a premiership tilt but they'd have to do the work to get there first.

Leek Aleer could be in the frame if Saints go for JSOS because it's probably one or the other for them.

It's a business decision alongside a club culture fit. Tribalism doesn't really serve that, or a genuine sense of community you want from a sporting club.

The system requires we make 3 list changes a year... we haven't been in a full rebuild and the biggest changes were last off-season, but largely all thrown into acquiring Jagga.

Without wanting to state the obvious ... Papley would have been great 5 - 6 yrs. when he wanted to

If JSOS makes a STK

STK will try and pull off all their acquisitions not choose. Especially easier if FA’s are involved. Struggling to see how they can pull off all their trades with draft picks (unless seriously trying to undersell which would not surprise).

If JSOS is off to STK, WBD should pivot to Aleer - though most trades are sold on “we want you” from a way out.

If you read the consistent rumours about some players taking the piss and not being serious, then this fits the bill.

Then add comments made by Walsh (his no BS comment) and Weitering (you will be moved on comments), as well as rumours about Voss and Curnow and it's fairly obvious anyone who is traded are not part of the serious player group.

I wonder if there is a rift between players now. Perhaps that's going a bit far.
