Find it a bit weird that we’re seemingly committing to fringe depth before knowing if we’ll keep our extended list.

Sheer stupidity making list moves on players who aren’t in high demand prior to knowing if we’ll keep our extra list spots.

I think we’ll keep them but unless confirmed it’s unnecessary to go this early.

We can probably make the assumption we (the club) know our list status based on a) it not officially being announced we were retaining them in 2024 and b) Gold Coast knowing they were losing theirs by end of August 2024.

The greatest player of the last decade - Martin was a complete introvert. Didn’t stop him being a stone-cold killer on field.

Just bring in players who can win and lead.

Problem is we are churning through draftees trying to find someone on the cheap who can play that exact role. When we could have filled it with one pick. Hansen, Payne, Banch, Harvey and now Spargo.

Out of all of those only harvey was taken on the main draft and very deep so we are not really wasting picks however i agree its a lot of list spots for really not even a certainly that either of those candidates will be in a contending team.

As for reports of us paying Christians salary for the next five years look these things happen in negotiations and we think we are in a positive place at the moment with our salary cap and Christians definitely not getting a parcel of land at Armstrong Cree----shit-- look we'll back our list management team in to pick a great player with the future third
