It will be interesting how any suspensions are announced.

I don't think the footy public would stand for a player getting 10 weeks without a reason given. And if it's serious enough for a half year suspension, why is it also not being left to the cops to handle? You'd certainly think there would be avenues for appeal.

Its pretty clear to me that if the allegations are around the same level as previous allegations and the same time frame then he has served his time.

If they are worse then bigger punishment is justified.

There's not much to get up in arms about until;
1 - the suspension is announced
2 - we know the severity of what he did

And what happens when she decides to raise something new again this time next year? We just keep suspending him?

The delays is reportedly about getting legals right. Hopefully there is enough legal doubts to scuttle this.

Surely this is new stuff after the course was undertaken. If it is retrospective then that's a different matter.

The AFL will leak the texts and everyone will too outraged to worry about whether any crimes have been committed.
Amazing that they haven't been leaked already.

The suggestion is that he has been goaded into responding and in responding, has made fresh threats and abusive statements.

He needs to shut the **** up and grow up!

Then she can do whatever she wants.

I'm actually astonished nothing has leaked so far. This is so not how an AFL investigation usually goes.

It can still make sense if it's 'old' stuff. If he cops a suspension it simply means it's more serious than the allegations that were previously dealt with.

Thats it from me now - let's see what eventuates. Hopefully the AFL actually makes a decision asap so we can all move on in whichever direction.
Keep posting on all things North i have found most of your stuff pretty accurate and you have always said its what you hear and not always your opinion, Keep up the good work mate.
