Yeah I'd say so.Sounds like either Edmund after contacting Ben Williams, or Ben Williams of his own volition, called Tom Morris and made him walk it back?
Yeah well I can see that with subsequent reports. The initial postings didn't clarify thatNo it read like Redmans agent sounded out some clubs, potentially without consulting Redman first.

Have little doubt Redman was looking around at other clubs. Everybody in AFL club and player management circles knows everything, word travels fast. Nobody would've just made it up.
So when he made his comments last week, clearly Merrett or his manager have thought "seriously?" and put this story out there.
Football player is a bit dumb and a bit hypocritical. What a surprise.
I couldn't think of a more expendable player than Redman. The guy is a loose, running half back who makes dog-ear gestures when he kicks a goal. He'd be replaced by any one of ten other guys if he was to leave.
It was a ridiculous decision to sign him when he was OOC and the Adelaide clubs were keen, as we could've got a half-decent return. He ain't that good.
Yep. A big bit of nothing. Even if Redman asked his manager to make some calls it is pretty standard stuff.I mean did anyone read the article?
It read as though his management was called by other clubs to sound out his availability?
Trying to create a narrative that Redman is somehow contradicting himself is ridiculous
Honestly at this point im just strapping in for the ride. Hard to take this club seriously at the moment
Saw that. Was not even a good walkback. And there we have it, Tom Morris now saying he has no idea if Redman was aware of the discussions his manager was having earlier in the year.
