"Adelaide has been rocked by three late withdrawals for Sunday's crunch game at Subiaco against Fremantle. Wayne Carey, Scott Welsh and Kris Massie will miss, with Jason Torney, Ben Rutten and Trent Hentschel coming into the side. James Gallagher will travel to Perth as the emergency."

It sounds like Croad is doing well in the WAFL for the Claremont "ex-dockers", he's kicked 4 to half time. Our second tier players are doing well with Browne, Cunningham and Colreavy dominating in the midfield. That being said they are up against Peel this week ;)

And Ashley McIntosh had kicked 5 goals to half-time. The Retirement Village will thrash Peel by 100+ points, I wouldn't read too much into it...

I don't think Claremont are too far away from being the retirement village with all the ex-AFL blokes there.

And Longmuir kicked 6 for West Perth against the Bulldogs, he'll be pretty stiff if he misses a callup in the next few weeks given his recent form.

While Peel is crap, at least it might get the confidence up.

Claremont smash peel by 177points at the end.
Croad kicks 6 . anyone know how Clive went.

Pressure on JLo & Medhurst tomorrow

We dont play to badly in the wet it will be a tough game of footy!!!!! I think it will come down to who wants to win it the most, who comes out firing will win this one, hopefully that will be the Mighty Crows:D

Why is Peel still in the competition?

Surely a team as bad as that doesn't belong in such a high-standard league.

Peel last season were getting competitive and all this BS blew up with the licence deal. Peel again were r*ped & pillaged from the other 8 clubs once again and are virtually starting afresh . I just hope Peel can be granted a longer term or permanent licence so Footy can develop in that area.

Thankfully it shouldn't rain tomorrow, I hope.

Remember a couple of people saying that about Freo and the AFL a couple of years back.

Your boys will walk it in now.....might be close for a half but you'll blow us away eventually.....enjoy the win and we might even see you in September.

With Essendon and Hawthorn both winning, the importance of this game in our bid for a finals berth has increased dramatically.

We must win to remain two games clear of both Essendon and Hawthorn. Percentage will also be very important at the end of the year and Essendon aren't theat far behind us. It would be a bonus if we were able to beat the Crows by a large amount.

Nice attempt of reverse pshycology ;)

We need to win and win well but I will be more than happy with a 1pt win. It will be a huge huge test.

Good Call Kenny.

The thing for Freo is to remember what weve got & not worry on who Adelaide havent got. Adelaide still have the likes of McLeod , Ricciuto.................

Ummm, no reverse psychology Kenny.....if Goody, Stevo, The King, Welshy and Massie were in the side, and you had a few injuries, then it would be. But right now, everything is stacked against us, I struggle to see us kicking a winning score, knowing full well Freo's capabilities at Subi. Anyone can see that. It's useless having McLeod and Roo dominating in the midfield when they're kicking to Trent Hentschel.

Like DJ BJ said, go for the percentage boosting win, because the result isn't in doubt.

By the time you read this you'll know what I'm talking about.
