I know a lot was made about Stringers 42 goals, Caddy is almost at his season total after 7 games this year so anything from here is eating into what Stringer gave us

(2024)
Caddy - 10 games, 9 goals
Stringer - 23 games, 42 goals
= 51 goals between the two

(2025)
Caddy - 7 games, 8 goals

If Nate can get this up to 20 goals, then we really are only needing to "make up" the difference of about 20 goals. Not the end of the world and in the long run a beneficial move by the club although Stringer was a match winner on his day

The other reality about Stringer is he was very unlikely to back up his 42 goals. We all kind of knew he was in a contract year and he stayed fit all year. So we were much more likely to get 25-30 goals than another year of 42 goals.

And from what I hear if the ball was not close by as well. Not that I a saying anything bad against him. Different times. I was guilty of playing the same way in my day (late 80's early 90's)
Being a 16 /17 playing senior football was terrifying around that era. You needed 360 awareness at all times, no matter where the footy was on the ground, someone was planning to pick you off.

Think Peter Wright is already looking better than he did all last season. Plus I think both Caddy and Kako have a lot improvement left in them and their averages wil go up. If Langford gets his fitness back as well.

you'll never see it on the TV, but he's gotta be one of the hardest workers in the team. just keeps running. his third goal tonight sums that up

I reckon he fluffs a lot of field kicks because his work rate is so high he's gassed when he gets it. Wouldn't mind a coach to tell him to take simpler options.

His work rate is unbelievable. I'm glad he reached out to Nick Riewoldt for advice cause there's similarities with their tank

Bit of a real dumb footballer. Athlete sure - footballer, not really, not yet.
Retweeting this. Was good today again largely due to his athleticism - but again some real dumb bone headed mistakes. i.e. the short pass from the boundary straight to the opposition, the high aired hoofs into 50 from outside the arc.

Just slow down and think a bit lad.
