Retweeting this. Was good today again largely due to his athleticism - but again some real dumb bone headed mistakes. i.e. the short pass from the boundary straight to the opposition, the high aired hoofs into 50 from outside the arc.
Just slow down and think a bit lad.

Yep doesn’t need that much weight on him imo. Just needs his body to mature and more core strength.Hope they don’t bulk him up too much. Build a bit more core strength and arm strength but his mobility and running power are just as important as being a hulk that stands at FF.
I agree that we need to ensure we keep Caddy's mobility and running power at all costs.Hope they don’t bulk him up too much. Build a bit more core strength and arm strength but his mobility and running power are just as important as being a hulk that stands at FF.

You can get nommed twice
Didn't a random Melbourne player get three? You can get nommed twice

This. He's immature and impetuous and that's not his fault. His frontal lobe is still developing and won't be a finished product for aseveral years yet.But your athlete-footballer dichotomy is just wrong.
He's a footballer who makes the wrong decisions having show a 'footballer's' aptitude for everything else.
Why can't it just be immature decision making?
An 'athlete' was Ambrose. He ran around like a headless chook as a forward only able to keep up with the game because he was a supreme endurance athlete. Ambrose could hardly find the ball to make a bad decision with it.
I'm otherwise in agreement. The number of times he's burned team mates in better positions or bitten off a bit more than he can chew. He's not managing the rush of blood at the moment. It a classic example of the impact of a lack of experience.

if anyone knows, it'd be you![]()
Aren’t we slowly turning the tide with the younger kids coming through though? Durham, Caldwell, caddy, Hobbs, Roberts all love the contest. Duursma has also surprised me with his willingness to put his body on the line and ability to compete.I keep banging on about our players being soft and not physical, maybe it's being a tad over the top. A swagger to make your team mates play taller is what this guy has
If I saw the confidence this kid has id play taller as well
im talking about the make your opponent nervous type of arrogance. The stick up for your mates comes from that tooAren’t we slowly turning the tide with the younger kids coming through though?
