Hopefully he shirt fronts Whateley

robbo hasnt been on for a while. And gives Robbo the old Liberatore squirrel on the way through.
It's okay, he probably just means a Tony Abbott shirt-front, which we all know won't amount to anything, so all good.Good god Beery settle down, we can't afford to have him and Brad suspended.![]()

I thought Fyfe would need to retire to be the case, but you're right!I do like to run this as a gag but now Kyle is FINALLY better than Nat Fyfe
Mark Robinson likes thisAnd gives Robbo the old Liberatore squirrel on the way through.
You can't read too much into it, when Truck took over from Worsfold they were saying the same thing.Spoke really well last night I thought.
Also, similar to Mason, really heaped praise on Brad for how clear his messaging is and how good a place the club is to be at at the moment.
I'm sure not throwing shade at Truck by any means, but the more you hear players heaping praise on the current direction etc, really makes you wonder how much of a dumpster fire last year was!
Langford, Merrett, Parish, Setterfield, Martin would be my listI thought Fyfe would need to retire to be the case, but you're right!
Reckon Langers is leading the B&F?
Truck is part of the history of the club along with all the other coaches of the last 150 years. You can't read too much into it, when Truck took over from Worsfold they were saying the same thing.
To me the player that misses out is probably stringer. Langford is doing great as the 3rd tall. No need to change that up. Just shift jake to the bench as an impact playerCurrent version of Langers is the best I've seen him but without Wright there it's hard to say how much is by design and how much is fate.
Wright out obviously gives Langford the space to move and be found. When Wright returns it will be interesting to see what the flow-on effect for Langers is.
The other side of this is that the back 6 is currently doing a solid job, and I'd be loathe to send him back there anyway given how well he's playing forward. This conundrum only gets more intense the longer he plays forward and the more he kills it.
Maybe he is destined to just make way when Wright returns and be cast as the utility player Scott described a few weeks ago.
I'm trying to see what Scott does, but that's probably not a bad way to prolong Jake's effectiveness. I wonder if we then don't become reliant on Stringer having impact moments in the 3rd and 4th quarters. To me the player that misses out is probably stringer. Langford is doing great as the 3rd tall. BPB settle down mateHe's an A-grader now.
BPB settle down mate
He's a good B grader. Merret is an a grader
Issue is he's one of our best kicks into the 50. He's gone to another level this year in all positions. This guy is a gun, I don’t know why you haven’t played him forward his whole career.
(plz play him down back on Sunday tho)
Kelvin mate, there are 21 other players to jump on after this loss before you get to LangersOther than kicking goals, he's an absolute liability out there once there's finals intensity.
Poster boy of our last 20 years.
Had to go back late to cover for Laverde going down. Definitely stays up front if Lav doesn't get subbed out with the shoulder.Stop starting him in the bloody backline
