Straight off the bat, i'll admit that my perspective is askewed due to bias, so i'm seeking other peoples thoughts.

Is Aaron Edwards mark today a contender for Mark of the Year?

It will be in contention but i've seen carey do that week in week out when he played. I may be bias but you have to Azza's mark to believe how good it is.

People don't get it. The other boy was straight up vertical but azza was horizontal and this is why people need to see it to believe it.

A contested mark.

None of this line my opponent up and stand on his head unattended every other week type mark.

I saw Newton's live, and agree it's mark of the year.

Edwards is better than McVeigh's tho - and is one of about four crackers he has taken this year.

At this stage, i'd say it is between Newton and Edwards now.

I think Newtons mark was an absolute screamer due to the height he achieved, but at the end of the day he marked it on his chest.

Aaron Edwards certainly didn't get quite as high, but was horizontal in the air when he took it with fully outstretched arms.

Will be interesting to see how the judges go with this one, as both were amazing grabs!

I always liked norf fans but you jeeze have you guys become arrogant pricks. When people look back on this year there going to see 2007 winner: Geelong. Wooden spoon: Richmond.

Hey if your supposed to be in the gutter and somehow end up living ghetto fabulous are you not allowed to tell anyone about it you tool. Newton has mark of the year atm no doubt. As soon as i saw azza's today i thought marvellous but not as good as newtons. Its ok newton will win it, its ok relax a little nobody will take that away from you at this stage
