Adelaide Forum Awards (5 days left!)

Hey guys,

I've been having a great time on these boards so far and talked to some great people. I've seen some great threads, posts and posters.

And so I though, how about we have an Adelaide - only Forum Awards. Just for fun, not competition.

Having confirmation by the moderators, I have developed a simple and unique way to recognise who makes this forum what it is.

And only Adelaide Forumers get to vote. All Adelaide forumers e-mail me their votes on each category.

Catergories are as follows:
Best Poster
Best thread
Most entertaining poster
Most improving poster
Best New Member
And...
Most Knowledgable poster

Each member on this forum must vote for each category. You can vote for anyone on this forum: Kane, Dave, me, anyone!

And even if you don't win an award (which is not a prize, just a special mention and the respect of your peers), you shouldn't feel annoyed because its just for fun.

Rules are as follows:
- You must vote for each category
- You don't have to vote if you don't want to
- You must e-mail me your votes (and please label them for each category). Do not post them in this thread.
- The thread nomination must be for threads in this forum only.
- The same goes for the poster awards.

I've already received a number of award votes from people in this board, which is fantastic.

Some of the awards, especially Most Knowledgable Poster, are heating up.

Remember, though, that the threads and New Member awards can only given to threads or New Members that were posted/registered after September 1st, 2003.

And that you can vote on the last day if you want to. That way it may be easier, because you might notice other people/threads by then. But that's just a tip.

Can't wait to get more of your votes. Should be great!

I wouldn't get too carried away Dyertribe.

But in all seriousness, there's been a fantastic variety in the votes and while we have many varied categories, other, especially the Best New Member, are really starting to heat up.

There's lots of time left but I can't wait. Keep it going guys!

Right have got the suit dry cleaned and the shoes polished... can't wait for the big night! Sure it's not the Crown Palladium but the Rooty Hill RSL sh|ts all over that Casino on the Yarra for ambience and atmosphere in my opinion...
