Last time they played: Collingwood 15.16 (106) def Adelaide 11.8 (74) at the MCG (Round 15.
Collingwood have a extra day to prepare, but they are coming off a trip to Perth.
Collingwood has won its past two interstate finals and they defeated and they defeated Port Adelaide in round 20 at AAMI Stadium.
If you were to base your selection on form, you’d probably select Adelaide - Collingwood were far from impressive against Fremantle in Perth last weekend, kicking only 8 goalsa nd with Burns and Thomas fighting to be fit, they will go into this match very much under manned and you’ve got think what a difference Didak and Shaw could make.
Mind you, Adelaide’s recent form in finals is hardly inspiring.

ADELAIDE
Adelaide won five of their final six games to secure a finals berth and this weekend they get the added bonus of a home final. Last weekend they defeated the Western Bulldogs by 9 points in a low scoring game at AAMI Stadium and they were far from convincing.
A major concern for Adelaide is that they’ve averaged only 13 goals per match this season and their recent finals record under Neil Craig fails to inspire, with just two wins from seven finals since 2003.
COLLINGWOOD
After putting themselves in the poll position to grab fourth position, Collingwood fell at the final hurdle last weekend, losing to the Fremantle Dockers at Subiaco.
With Scotty Burns doubtful with a calf calf injury and Dale Thomas also battling to recover from a calf complaint, the Magpies will possibly come into this cut-throat final without their captain and a number of key players (don’t forget Didak and Shaw).
Leon Davis may well be the key to the Magpies - in the past four matches he has averaged 25 possessions per game.
