Are the Blues back? The heat will be on again after this game Pory by 55 points.

I'll keep my original selection so the Port fans can lampoon me if they do win, but I'm jumping ship after seeing the teams, The Blues will win this game, Port is playing funny buggers with the team. Carlton to win by 4 goals.

Ports current season winning streak, 13 in a row.
Ports current Marvel Stadium winning streak, 10 in a row.

Carlton current winning streak, 3 in a row (Suns, Hawks & Dockers).
Average winning margin in the last 3 games, 57 points.

The Vic media are excited, the AFL is excited, the match day umpires are excited. I think we are are in for a major reaming this weekend. Not sure if I want to watch now.

Blues beat 3 bottom 6 teams and they’re up and about again. We haven’t looked great in the last month or so, really falling over the line with short bursts of irresistible footy, but I think that’s all it will take to win this.

Ports by 17

Two things I’m struggling to come to grips with in this thread:

1. The number of people saying they’re tipping Carlton
2. The fact I’m about to add myself to that list.

No idea what poor old Port have done to deserve being tipped against this week and yet here we are.

It's the loss we had to have apparently.

Considering that Port havent lost at Docklands in their last 9 or 10 games there and the fact they look unbeatable they will win by 7 or 8 goals. No way Carlton has a chance at stopping Ports kissed on the pecker luck and dominance.

It's Carlton mate.

Unbeatable? They've done well to win 13 on the trot and I don't think Carlton will win, but they snuck home in 6 of those, were behind in the 4th in I think 7 of them and had their leads cut to single digits (but never relinquished the lead) in another 2.
Yes, they won them all and that's a great effort in itself, but they have looked beatable.

Our consistency across 4 quarters is questionable. It's not sustainable to just tread water for 3 quarters and explode in one, Carlton can kick goal after goal...I think we may win, but no way surprised if Carlton sink us by scoring too heavily

I'll buck the trend and tip Port (with zero confidence)

I can smell the confidence of Carlton supporters creeping back in

It’s a beautiful site
