Its not darwin! Dec and jan can be tough but rest of year its fine. I used to believe that too, being from Perth home of the dry heat, but its overblown.
Anyway agree with your last sentence- but half to go

I like 4 distinct seasons but if you want warm weather all year with little variation sure.

Winter is generally around 9-27deg. It’s just we don’t get frost point like down in Melbourne
