Afl Football records

It has occured to me that recently looking through my junk that I have come across a 1912 Vfl football record in pretty good condition. I was wondering whether anyone out there had any idea as to how much this could be worth at this present time?

the reason it is in reasonable condition is because about 7 years ago, the AFL, reproduced the very first footy record printed - in 1912, and they included it in the weekly record for a particular round.

The value of what you have - zero! Plenty of those reproductions are floating around at the moment.

On a side note, the AFL record turned 100 this year, on April 27!

let me just clarify here, it was never a reprint for the 100th anniversary of the record, this reprint was done about 7 years or so ago, the 100th anniversary of the footy record was just last week.

Occasionaly on ebay, somebody will try to sell this re-print and try to pass it off as the real deal from season 1912, and be asking for an opening bid of over $500.00 - beware of the fake imitations!

It was a reprint for the Centenary round in 1996. Plenty of them in circulation - highly doubt it's the real deal. Probably worth $5 at absolute max.
