He is yes. One that I think has a much higher ceiling than Tsatas, Hobbs and I suppose Setterfield.

Your forgetting Durham aswell, Durham and Caldwell especially can give plenty of defence when required. Parish likely comes in soon which will see the likes of Perkins and Setterfield play less time in the middle.

Hope that Harley Reid was watching that game and saw all his mates his age running around playing extremely well together. If I was him and my best mate was Caddy, I'd want to play alongside him... just sayin'

While we don’t need MacKenzie, Setterfield is incredibly replaceable. These limited role players don’t need to exist.

For Brisbane, the entirety of role players they have forward of defence are; Ah Chee and Dunkley. A premier small forward that can play defence while offering ground level and aerial threat and a A grade ball winner, who can kick goals and use the ball really well.

We don’t need a blocking midfielder, we need midfielders who can recognise when it’s their turn to block or ball hunt. This limited role player stuff is bad football club mentality. Drive standards to get everyone to be defensively capable at a minimum while still having other strings to their bow.

I’m not saying the club should be giving Reid a long term contract… that’s the issue with Draper. Happy for him to stay, but against him staying on a long term deal. It would be idiotic for the club to give Reid a long term deal

It’s risky, but you could sign Reid on to a 5-6 year deal that’s under market value in money. His talent is undeniable so you could potentially have an all Australian centre half back at unders.

stars who are outplaying their contract in premiership windows are good to have. Look at Carlton cap stuck and no where to move

It won't happen because he bleeds red, blue and white...but we should have a crack at Bont. Unrestricted free agent and the best player in the comp. Only knock against him is his age, but he'd probably immediately improve us in such a way that him being 30 in November wouldn't matter.

Unless I'm missing something, we really need to invest in a couple of quality matured kpd's. At least 1.
