Yeah a better showing. Lambert and Kelly stood out, Kelly has really surprised me. Honourable mentions to Jakobsson, Vesely, Xenos, Wardlaw.
Plenty still need to step up another gear. Stevens and Friend a real worry, especially the latter.

Bombers smashed us at pretty much every stat bar tackles and 1%-ers. Kinda tells a tale. Our endeavour and pressure great, but once the balls on the outside our lack of skill kills us. Essendon's ball movement and ours were chalk and cheese for much of the match.

This was more one ump said HTB the other ump further away said dump tackle, so they both looked and since one was hurt said yeah, dump tackle.

Is a case of "if in the umpires opinion that..." in ruling they can wishy wash a decision like that for any literal reason and be correct regardless that is a core issue as to why the rules are broken. Even in a perfect world situation, it ends up as which umpire was correct in that situation?
