Andrew Walker OR play a man down

Probably because he is held in such high regard at Carlton. Yes they have lots of good young players coming through, no he is not one of them.
Since you're a dog, do you manage to get your head down there after you post crap like this?

A Dockers fan isn't qualified to point the finger at another club and say they made poor choices. ;)

The little excerpt you just provided me demostrates exactly why Walker is more disappointing.
Do you even watch football?
The fact that the ensuing 4 choices also overlooked Tenace goes to show that he was most definately not regarded in the same esteem as the earlier choices. Hence, his failure to come on as a promising young player is less disappointing than Walker's.
I really hope that helps you sleep at night when Tenace is delisted this year or the next. It will only get uglier for Geelong when Stanton wins his first best and fairest and Butler plays in another Grand Final.
It is also less disappointing from the perspective that Geelong used pick 7, whilst Carlton had to use pick 2. I think it is fairly clear which Club got less bang for their buck, particularly considering that the Blues could have Brock McLean.
I think Melbourne got less bang for their buck because they picked Sylvia when they should have taken Mclean.

Walker is an out and out gun despite your uninformed comments.

A stuff up would have been taking Clarke, Tenace or Dunn ahead of better players.

As ive said before, hes a poor mans Simon Godfrey. Atleast Godfrey is regarded as a good tagger. Walker is even a worse kick than him, something I never thought id see.

You are a ****************, ask every coach in the AFL Walker or Godfrey the vote 16-0 in favour of Walker, even Neale voted for Walker.

Godfrey for me. He doesn't represent as big a liability as Walker. I know Walker is more athletic, but Godfrey is a slightly better tagger due to his superior footy smarts. I think you'll find that AFL coaches are less impressed by a few flashy runs down the wing than your average Carlton supporter and thus the vote would probably be more like 8-8, or even 9-7 in Godfrey's favour.

I think most coaches would rather have a Godfrey, a no-nonsense workhorse who can do a tagging job and won't turn the ball over at every opportunity. Unlike one-eyed supporters, good coaches can see past a flashy piece of play and focus more on the football aspect of the play.

Andrew Walker is elite top-shelf talent, and now starting to show it on a consistent basis. Clearly the best from the 2003 draft. Amazing talent. :)

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

He's still improving which is suprising cause he's actually had the most games out of any from the 2003 crop playing in such a depleted team early in his career still yet Brock McLean + Adam Cooney IMO is very much ahead of him.

22 kicks to be the most effective player on the ground by foot with 19 effective kicks proves he is a terrible kick.
But would be in Geelong's top 5 players? If we're talking reserves the poster who stated such "might" be onto something. :)
Matt Rosa would be running around in the WAFL if Walker was on your list.
Lolzass :o

Walker has undoubtedly improved. Previously he couldn't kick at all, now he just can't kick while running. :thumbsu:
