- Carlton have no leadership... When the cards aren't falling his way who does he have to turn to? Do the senior players pass the ball to him when he's in space or do they ignore him?
- Bottom age recruit (20 next May)... Not physically developed like Cooney, yet. Needs a solid pre season in the gym.
- Shown glimpses of what he is capable in his first game and shown it in patches in other games.
- Has a good attitude... And is one of a few of the Carlton boys who actually tries to get in his opponents head.
- Is a step above everyone in VFL... When someone like Davies or Clarke get 30-VFL possesions they aren't really effective but when Walker gets 20-VFL possesions he looks exceptional... So obvious he doesn't belong there.

FD if your so confident that Walker is ******** then why don't we make it interesting? I'll put $100 that he will finish top 5 in Carlton's Best & Fairest in 2006, 2007, 2008 or 2009... He'll be 23 by then and a 100+ gamer so he should be playing well... Are you up for it, or to scared cos you know your wrong?

Give the kid a break. Not every top 10 pick is going to be a Judd that strolls into an AFL team and dominates. Most of them take a few years to develop their body and style. Walker has the ability to be a gun. Give him time and he'll show you.
I assume you know this, of course. That is why you choose to get stuck into him now, rather that miss your chance when he fires up next season

Hes OK, just in the worst list in the comp. Judd/Dal Santo etc are in fair sides, which makes it easier.

He’d want to start to prove why this year mind you but Jesus it’s early days. Why do people think these guys will all walk into the AFL and win a Brownlow. The Judd’s of this world are exceptions. He is no Judd but you can hardly say is no good yet. His debut game was pretty exciting. Kouta hadn’t shown much at this stage. Buckley had just gone to Port Adeladie (the real one) to further his development.
