I agree with F/D (suprisingly).

Walker must have doubts. I think he will end up playing alot of games but that will be through the state of carltons list more than his ability.

Funky, I suggest you talk to TheHeatlyStand about that . . . :D

In fact Funky, I'd go as far to say there is more chance of me playing at Carlton next year than there is BJ. :D

Easily.

Even more so with Wells.
Goddard has done much much more than Walker.

Walker goes un-noticed.

Well I'd still like to be sure. :)

Afterall, everyone's made wrong calls before. I once said I'd go through a sex-change if West Coast finished top 4. :o

Look, it has been proven carlton is a black hole, sucking away whatever talent a player may have. Andrew Walker may have talent...but as long as he's at carlton...it'll never be recognized.

They are the joke of the decade, have no 'home' and are a terrible place for a player to try and reach his potential.

I'd prefer that to having to wear a Carlton jumper.

Although these days I think they're one in the same. ;)

Great place to score though if you want to get off your face. :)

Its pretty amazing how a bloke who can snag 26 possies in his first game against a quality West Coast oufit!!! You can sit there and bag him F/D but i'll give him time n he'll be a star.

I spose Melbourne have been exceptionally successful in the past 20 years :thumbsd: Good Work JeffDunne

Any new material JD or should I just respond with my standard Gehrig needs house training or Milne's a deviant joke?

Hehehe....you're an idiot. I'll let you figure out why. Would you like a big bowl for that spoon of yours? :)

P.S. Joke of the decade

Didn't take me long to figure out what F/D stands for - f*cken d*ckhead by any chance?
I'm not one to usually bag young players, but your teams first round pick in the same draft was David Trotter.......WHO????????????
Having said that, I'm sure David will develop into a handy player, as will Walker...key word - DEVELOP.

Some comments should just be left to go through to the keeper.

For every d*ckhead on our list we have 10 that aren't. Reverse that ratio and you have Carlton.

BTW, our d*ckheads perform a lot better than yours.

Melbourne FC - joke of the decade easily. Obviously have had talented lists to finish high on the ladder every 2nd year over the past decade. But even with the high draft picks in between those years, when they slide down the ladder for no reason, still can't get close. WHAT A FARCE!!
Quickly, off to the snowfields before it's too late.

I think you'll find that 90% of AFL players are d1ckheads.

It's amazing that Carlton supporters bag Wells and Goddard as duds in one breath - and then blame draft penalties for their club being crap in another.

Even more amazing is that they claim Walker should be given more time (which I agree) when both Wells and Goddard showed more in their first two seasons than Walker has.

Carlton supporters - I shouldn't really be amazed.
That would be the same as when a Carlton supporter trolls the Saints and Saints supporters come out of the woodwork to make some ridiculous statements. We didn't start this thread by the way, and we don't start the majority of them either.

Never had too much problem with Roos supporters before but some of them have shown just how lacking they are in character in this thread. Very surprised because the team itself is steeped in character.

As for Walker, there is a very real contention that some players, and one in particular, don't give the ball to him. If you watch the amount of times he presents or finds space only to be ignored and then for the player to turn it over with a kick to a contest, you would know what I mean. One of those players is yet to re-sign. If he doesn't, expect Walker to rack up the possessions next year.

Wells is scared of his own shadow....

Yeah but he still manages to side step and burst past.... ;)

Walker = getting there... not crap just young. Same for Smith, Trotter, Perry all drafted bottom age!

Glad to see they name the blues in the basket case for afl sides receiving gov't funding. Brought a tear to my eye :p

I've tried explaing this previously but it was ignored.

I'm not the biggest Andrew Walker fan in the world, but the kid is 19 YEARS OLD FFS!!!

You could see after his 1st game the kid had talent, was on a hiding to nothing after that game. But maybe you're right FD, maybe he should be axed. I mean, whoever heard of a teenager yet to reach his potential?

Walker is small and needs time same with Ray thow Ray has better skills and goes to the right spot on the ground, eg helping boyd with that goal.

Walker is fit but his football brain needs a bit of work, give the kid 2 years.

All thow where are the Walker > Cooney threads these days?
