Also, isn't she clever that she checked out the demographics to work out ~50% of the electorate are female.

She's making a tilt for an upper-house seat with the Libs....

My point is not that Murdoch/Sky do it.

My point is why are the LNP compelled to follow Murdoch/Sky down every single rabbit hole.

they share the same donors/advertisers (harvey norman etc)

they share memberships to the same groups (think IPA, australia club etc)

they mix socially (lachlans sydney xmas bash etc)

I was at the footy Saturday night, with my favourite team beating my least favourite team, and I was flat.

There is the usual talk inside from certain corners about "go woke, go broke", but also an increased level of chat about what we need to do to become competitive in urban areas again, with a lot of it concerning housing. I'll see if this one is actually the kick in the bum we need, but there is some encouraging noise at this early stage.
