The best thing about today was that by half way through Q2 until half way through Q4 there was no one-sided barracking by the commentary team. They stopped their raucous screaming and settled down to simply describe the game. They did get back on to it when they thought Carlton were an outside chance so to the Foxtel commentary team, I say go suck a bloody lemon.

All the young players showed stacks, we put the Blues to the sword physically and mentally for three quarters, and continued the form we've showed over the last two and a bit months to get a W. Casual 93 point turnaround from GF too.

And it's all misery and mewling in here. Oh we should have won by more. Greedy bastards

'Haven't beaten this lot since 2021' is a slight on Carlton, not us. Most teams, we haven't beaten since 2019 or before.

You know what happened when we did exactly this to Collingwood? We faded. And lost. It was the same script today, only Carlton weren't good enough to win. Do we want to be an admirable rebuilding team or do we want to actually ****ing learn from our past mistakes and start developing some sodding armour?

93 pt turnaround is great. But with the confidence of some of our recent results, McKay missing, Curnow on one leg, Weitering on one leg, it's not out of this world. There's a reason many in the media tipped us, and in the case of most of them, it wasn't to sink the boots in if we lost

Agree with the last two points very strongly, but Kerch spent his first two quarters looking like Stephen Curry ball in hand only to mongrel the kick 3/4s of the time.

We should expect more.

It’s not how you teach a team to win.

They need to learn to be ruthless and push, not try and kill a game with 30 mins left.

If you are happy to teach a team to play to leave themselves vulnerable and a chance to be run over, then expect to be let down by teams coming over the top of us.

Was absolutely apparent after we beat West Coast and people complained about the manner in which we won.

We won.
