Klinger is a freak!!! :eek: Ferguson played an extremely important role as he was all guns blazing from the beginning and basically steered us home. He hit a six right near me too, thought I was in with a chance.
 
Klinger has been a gun pick up but what does that say about the standard of cricket here really? A guy who has barely had any time to adjust can play like that what's wrong with some of the others? Maybe coming up through the Vic ranks instilled a much better work ethic.......
 
Headed down after work today - first game I've been to in probably nearly 10 years. The last one was a one dayer where we batted first and beat WA, Katich made a 100 for them. Anyway I digress... Great run chase, really well constructed, never panicked and got home pretty comfortably in the end. Nice night as well, will be heading into another game sooner rather than later I think.

Yeah that's all good. Hopefully he starts making some big scores soon (I know he scored a ton a few weeks back but still) so we can get him in the team.

I am becoming a massive fan of Christian, he's turning into a gun allrounder. His bowling stats were porridge before joining the Redbacks too.

I saw Cosgrove there too! Asked him whether the Redbacks won and had to ask him twice, couldn't believe they got that score :eek:

Klinger is having a great summer, shame it doesn't seem like he will be around for the next one though. Surely he would be grabbing the attention of Australian selectors.
 
We all know the real reason why Klinger is playing so well. Since moving to SA he lives in Norwood and supports the Redlegs.

Cosgrove should be in the team. That Haberfield guy looks to be no good and Cossie is just as good with the ball as he is, and obviously we would have more batting depth.

Christian is quality, never understood why he was dropped in the first place.
 
apparently Jason Krejza was out at flashies too...

great win though, was supposed to head down but decided to go to pre season training instead couldnt believe our score when i got home. Watched the end, Ferg was awesome as was Klinger.

Haberfield was getting a heap of swing but i think he was just a bit nervous. Looks promising to me.

Christian was out with a hamstring injury, was never dropped as far as i know

I think Klinger to old, and selectors would take Ferg before Klinger, Chris Rodgers made 1000's of runs for 4-5 years and only played one test...

Problem with Redbacks they party and do not take their cricket seriously, (culture bad)wonder where Klinger & Younis where,probably not at HQ.as they seem to be professional cricketers.
Fergi makes a couple of good scores and now some have him in the Australian Squad??

i didnt say he needs a game, but on previous from, youth is the priority, look at north from WA as opposed to white from vic... etc.

I was at work when this happened but have read that the umpire said nooooo then raised the finger. Even the bowler was in disbelief. Must be schitzo or something.
