Get ready for a belly laugh. Other than Riewoldt, Hodge, Brown (BL), there is not many other players that run back into leading forwards (and mark the ball) like Harley does.

Gotta say that since Egan is their true CHB and the reigning AA CHB and Scarlett is the best Full back in the competition period, then the Cats win this comfortably.

Crows are pretty good, but still not in the same league as the Cats.

BTW, no one other than a silly St would rather Fisher/Hudghton to Scarlett/Harley, even if Harley is not strictly speaking a CHB anymore... He could play it well enough to keep this comparison firmly in the Cats' pair's favour.

I'm not saying Harley is a dud by any means, great player but he is not a Key Position back anymore, and hence Bock/Rutten (or indeed Fisher/Hudghton, which I mentioned due to a poster above me bringing them up) would be a better FB/CHB combination as Bock can actually play CHB and play it well.

And btw yes I would take Chips and Max as a combo over Scarlett and Harley, and yes I would probably be one of only a handful of people nationwide who would

haha a silly st? if u read properly it says other(please specify) so i just put mine in i just think they are 2 better defenders then HARLEY and scarlett but put scarlett and milburn id say milburn n scarlett are ahead

You only think so because he is that good offensively that Geelong choose to optimise his drive of the FB line, often by playing him on the opposition's 2nd best forward. We are good enough defensively to allow this, though in times of trouble he will be shifted to where the damage is.

In 2004 and 2005, when Geelong were good but only a pale shadow of their current selves, Scarlett was unbelievably good as a negating full back. He does what he does now because the team has evolved.
