With the boys finishing up for the year, what’s your bold prediction (Freo related) for season 2018?

Mine’s Tabs to kick 60+ goals and the club to average 92 points per game.
Under those conditions we win the flag IMO.

Mine: Bennell gets on the park and builds towards genuine elite form late in the year (polls heavy in brownlow in those games).
Sonny, Neale, Fyfe all All Australian. Ryan in the 40 man squad.

As part of my role as his buddy, Mitch Crowden to debut round 1, top 5 in the rising star, wins the Beacon (and the Norm Smith obviously)

Beacon - Cerra
Doig - Walters
Stepped Up - Tucker
Let Down - Ballantyne
I assume that by “let down” you are talking about his distinct lack of whipping boyiness after he slots 40+ goals for the year! This will definitely let down all the wannabe haters out there

Could you try not posting like a complete numpty or a low effort alt account troll for a bit before you make statements like this

Thread asks for a bold prediction - considering our start and previous 2 seasons, I can see the powers that be pulling the trigger sooner rather than later if a poor start eventuates.

If a fremantle supporter, like yourself, can't see the extenuating circumstances surrounding our past couple years then I'd hope that the powers above can.
The main board has a 'pressure' thread and consensus is there is fairly low pressure on fremantle.

Your going to have to be a lot more informed and a lot less controversial with your opinions if you want people to think you're anything more than a troll.

1) Peel B2B2B - North for Simpson Medal
2) Carter a top 10 draft prospect
3) Ballas 40+ goals
4) Still nobody will know who or what a Tom Morris is or does
5) Getting to and from the new stadium will be a right pain in the arse

I will continue to post my opinions, as I see fit regardless of what others deem "controversial".

If we start the year 2/8, it's not unreasonable to think Ross will be in the gun.

That’s a bit harsh. If we have another poor start, and given our fixture, it’s not a huge stretch. You can almost be sure that the media will be kicking up a fuss about Ross’ tenure. We won’t fire him, but for this particular thread, I don’t see an issue with somebody putting it out there.

maybe the response to that comment in isolation is harsh but his entire post history is clearly inflammatory.

As for the the Ross getting the sack scenario, it can't happen. We don't have the money to pay him out and hire another head coach.
The number of times they've repeated that neither the club or Lyon have a get out clause, you'd think a fremantle supporter would have heard.

Edit: I'm a bit argumentative because I'm dealing with eagles numpties on the main board who think Shuey is a 'far more damaging player than Neale' despite Neale being statistically more damaging across a load of stats

So just accept the status quo if memberships and attendance continue to head south?

And we can absolutely agree to a settlement. Don't be so naive.

Fremantle lost 1.22% memberships down from a record high in 2016 and the average attendance increased from 26 back to 31 thousand this year.
Bombing the first 8 weeks and firing the coach might be a bold prediction but it isn't well thought out.
