Rudd will be spoken in the same breathe as Whitlam in 20 years.
Rudd had many flaws but he did think big.
No he wont. Rudd will be an ink blot on the pages of Australian history. He was a nut. He tried to govern as king, not as a democratic leader of the ALP. Remembering the times & what many economists said at the time, I think he went about the GEC with the right ideas, but the details seemed to elude him.
I think for a lot of reasons many of our later PMs & pollies will not be remembered in the best of terms.
A pox on both their houses. Federalism & party politics will be the ruin of us all, woe is us




. He is the one in the media who could have set the tone of decency & respect. You cant control some of the masses, but you can set a tone of respect. Bolt has none.
