Having watched the prematch segment with the interview of Breust, and then first his non-attempt with a Roo behind him and then passing the ball when in the pocket to no-one really, it strikes me that he is more worried about the "most consecutive goals without a behind" record than what's best for the team. You'd think that wouldn't happen these days but I reckon it's definitely playing on his mind. Thoughts?

Did you hear the way he was speaking about it pre-match? Said things like "don't want it to end with a shocker" and "want to keep it going", just seemed to really be talking it up.

Surely not. I wish he was, of course. It would almost make it worth having to endure the commentators crapping on about it.

On the scale of shameless, hilarious attempts to preserve/achieve a milestone that no-one cares about, it would be up there with Ricky Davis shooting a ball against his own backboard uncontested, to get his 10th rebound and a triple double. But, I don't think he is.

Oh so I wasn't the only one who thought that was possible after he declined to kick for goal.

Usually passing the ball is considered 'team-play'... In any case don't know this thread will last long.
