It won't be such in issue during the cooler winter months, but the total lack of shade available at the venue (outside of the grandstand) is not ideal. VFL games starting at 11 or midday particularly affected. Really hope the girls avoid this timeslot come October/November.

They have a lot of trees planted that will take time to grow which will eventually give some areas of shade.

Those trees aren’t planted inside the fence are they?

Pretty sure the hill and the terrace opposite the stand will be full sun for mid day or afternoon games.

Night or twilight game times should become normal for the AFLW.
That is on the grounds that have suitable lighting like BHA.
