Do people think he can go on a few more years than a normal 30+ year old due to the fact his body hasn't been put through the afl ringer for 10+ years?
Will this increase his longevity?

I reckon he could play til about 34-35. If he's still in pretty good nick around 32-33 he'll be vital for our premiership hopes.

My thoughts too. 6 years of AFL footy, 100+ games, just enough for his kids to get on our list. Does he have any mini-Callinans yet?

Apart from last years hamstring injury, has he ever had a really bad LTI? He's moving quite well for a 29 year old and it generally seems the smaller guys have much better luck with playing effectively into their 30's (Liberatore, Bradley, Bickley).

Just looked up Wiki - 6yr old son Jack :D:thumbsu:

Also without putting pressure on the kid Ian's wife father was a very good football player too is in the Tasmaina hall of fame, Also when he played in the carnival he made the AA team in 1979.

So we need Callinan to play until at least the end of 2016 to ensure we get his kid eligible for father/son :D
