I wasn’t talking about youth. I’m well aware the Hawks 21 and under is one of the worst in the competition. There’s no shying away from that. I was specifically talking about the Hawks core group of senior players.

They are all 30 + or very close to it.

no key forwards, no small forwards, a slow and weak midfield, no key defenders.

Other than chad Wingard, we literally have 0 players with “x factor” and star quality.

Hopefully our supporters will finally start seeing things clearly and realise how cooked our team is.

I’ve seen this happen before, flag coach given power to do what he likes in the belief he has a grand plan, only to leave the list totally gutted and stuffed for the incumbent.

You’re correct...as I’ve said numerous times..every team has 2-3 Worpel’s. A solid inside midfielder that can’t kick but will play every week.

Our midfield is absolutely deplorable and has been for the last 3 years...that’s with Tom Mitchell who won a Brownlow and our “saviour” jaeger Omera who has been nothing more than a B grader. The all can’t kick and when you have a forward line has bad as ours it’s just impossible to score.

Clarko is just arrogant and refused to start a rebuild when he had the chance to. Not having any first round draft picks for a number of years will destroy your future.

Trading a young promising player in Burton and a first round pick that could of been Butters? For Wingard was a big mistake. Clarko will probably want to throw money at another mature free agent and trade another first rounder to try and be more competitive in the short term but hurt the long term.

He needs to go and bring in a fresh younger coach who will Be patient.

Clarko will probably want to use a first round pick on getting Ben Brown. The guy may be able to coach but has too much to say in list management. Flog of arrogance.
