If you bother to look at it Vossy's record as Carlton coach it is actually pretty good until this year.

IMO, it’s pretty simple. Voss needs to modify his game plan to introduce more run and carry with shorter kicks into the F50.
I also don’t buy, ‘we don’t have the cattle’, it’s just we have been too focused on our game plan that had us play finals, that we didn’t evolve with the rest of the competition, but kept pushing the same setups and structures.
If our coaches don’t evolve and work on our transition / F50 entries, we will be in ‘change mode’, this time next year.

Injuries / delistings and youth inclusions has affected our depth this year. Players such as McKay, Kemp, Walsh, Elijah, Cincotta, Newman, Williams, Jagger, Kennedy, Martin, etc. are some of the names. Playing 5 small forwards for most weeks wasn’t going to fix our run and carry and even more so, persisting with incorrect setups and structures contributed 3 fold.

We might find Blues will stick with Voss and trade out a few name players to change the playing culture and also send a message to the playing group.

The fact Voss sycophants all say Voss needs better assistants around him is ironically proof the guy can't coach for shit.

Every successful head coach needs good assistant coaches around them. We have never managed to get that right despite countless head coaching changes.
Why would top class assistants or highly promising ones want to work under Voss?
They won't learn anything about coaching from him.
Unless the goal is to learn what it takes to be a shit coach.

That's a whole different question. The fact is we've pretty much had the same assistants for a while now. It needs to change and I expect it will be something Wright/HOF will target
We had those kind of assistants because like Voss we made a terrible hire when when we put that group together.

I'm not sure about this because Ash Hansen was very highly rated when he came across. Pretty sure he was senior assistant under Beveridge at the Dogs just prior to joining Carlton. We also have to hope Wright and (hopefully) our new head of football has some pull in that area.
