I'd be happy if the Cats had a good, long hard look at him...
My girlfriend certainly does.

When it comes to players shopping themselves around and asking to be traded I would've thought someone who supports the Giants to be a little quiet on the topic.
toot toot saying tigers have offered him 2mil/4years so 500k
probably 400 odd on the old cba. probably free up most of it with some delistings etcIf that is true I doubt we would match it.
Probably triggers band 3 compensation.

Not good enough for Carlton, not good enough for anyone! Except maybe Collingwood.Who would be interested?
Thinking possibly Geelong or Essendon, a r anyone else who would need a second forward.
Anyone heard who may be interested? I think we won't be trying very hard to make him stay (nor should we)
Unless its a crazy offer like over $1.6 mil a year the chances are that Richmond will match the bid and force a trade. If Dusty leaves as a free agent, you're probably going to have to trade for him so you don't cancel out your free agency compensation.
Or you do an Adelaide and force the club to trade with you for dusty.

Cant see him just leaving for a compensation pick
Nahh that wont happen, If the contract negotiation has progressed to a stage where both club and player have agreed then the deal will get done, All these things would be sorted prior to a player agreeing with the new club on the deal and the managers will have all this in writing and the club wont be 'just walking away' otherwise the said club would never have any credability in attracting players to come to them.Richmond could be faced with the nightmare scenario that a prospective suitor will walk away, and leave them holding the bag.
Thereby leaving a club with its salary cap maxed out, for no improvement to its list.
This is a worst scenario than actually letting Martin go for a compo pick.

Hey Malifice, given you mentioned trade. Have you or your board heard the rumour that you guys are into Jason Castagna?
