Probably not. I was playing the game of "how would I make the pieces fit" rather than "lets pretend we're inside Alastair's head" though.there's no way that Clarko is making Daniel sub

Even ventured down corio bay about 10 years ago....No. Collingwood are super brave. Do you know they once travelled to Adelaide for an away game?
We don't know until this week's injury list is announced. How different is Collingwood’s team this year to the one we almost beat last year?

Cox would break him in halfMaybe Whitlock for Corr then he can line up on Cox when forward..
I reckon Schultz will playWe don't know until this week's injury list is announced.
They could be down Moore and Schultz, but they didn't have Pendlebury and Mihocek last time I think.
Obviously Houston's a big in for them too.
Think Jy missed for us?
He might be thin but he's flexible...Cox would break him in half

Regarding Membrey, yes he's a good player and requires some planning and a suitable matchup no doubt. But he is one of many weapons they have. Elliot being nearly the biggest of them. We need to be absolutely dominant all over the ground for 4 quarters to be any chanceThat’s what happens so - annoying as it is - they’re not wrong.
Bit of underrating Membrey in the discussion of defensive options.

mate that wing role requires 90% time on ground, and usually makes top 5 for high sprints and distance covered for the game.that's where I am leaning if PC is not 100%
wilphil in for scott
move powell to scotts wing
and then any of fisher, ford or cooper could be sub
Oh dear. We’re gonna get killed. Not final teams but guessing…
For them - out Kreuger, Harrison, McInnes, Dean, Noble, Macrae, Jiath, possibly Moore, Shultz - in Pendlebury, Houston, Membrey, Long, Elliot, Allen,Perryman, Mihocek, maybe Cox. Plus in Pendlebury and Sidebottom playing well.
For us - out Fisher, Taylor, Tucker, Shiels, Ford, Teakle, Phillips, Archer, Dawson, Stephenson, maybe Scott - in Simpkin, Darling, Parker, Daniel, Stephens, Comben, Hardeman, Maley, Konstanty, Duursma.
I think on paper we are a better than we were but the changes in their team are more substantial, especially if Moore and/orSchulz play. Allen really the only meh player of their ins and they have shed some ordinary players.
Fair point lol.We usually do okay against the Pies, confusing them with our lack of structure and overall chaotic shitness. Let’s hope us getting somewhat organised doesn’t lead to a demolition.
I've said it before but I wouldn't be against Dawson coming in and playing forward. I wouldn't know what changes that would make to the forward line set up, but it would produce another mobile tall who can kick goals. As you mentioned, there's no point playing him as a Key defenderI don't see Dawson coming in, most especially not as a true KPD.
That might be interesting, he certainly attacks the ball at speed... Wouldn't say I'd like to see him coming in and playing forward as such, wouldn't be against him playing forward in VFL though to test it. Suspect he would just be too tweener at AFL level for that but who knows?I've said it before but I wouldn't be against Dawson coming in and playing forward. Yeah. And look how that turned out for them! We showed them.Speaking of "divine right" - when they chose to go after Houston, the comment from Leppitch on day 1 was we are confident, despite some other clubs still feeling like they were offering more to Port. Collingwood really do think if they want someone and have made salary cap room it's a done deal. The other clubs don't matter.
Yeah but was only for a walk around Eastern Beach and the Fish'n'Chips.Even ventured down corio bay about 10 years ago....
Well, we could show them on Saturday nightYeah. And look how that turned out for them! We showed them.
This is the best post on this thread by far hahahahaWe usually do okay against the Pies, confusing them with our lack of structure and overall chaotic shitness. Let’s hope us getting somewhat organised doesn’t lead to a demolition.
Which Dawson are they talking about? If Larket goes down, he would be the next up.
